Kinya Seto

Kinya Seto founded MonotaRO Co., Ltd. and successfully had the company listed on the First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange. In addition, he has served as the representative director of several companies, accumulating abundant experience and extensive knowledge as a businessperson. After being appointed as Representative Executive Officer of LIXIL Group in 2016, he led LIXIL Group’s growth by focusing its managerial resources on its core enterprise. This included reviewing LIXIL Group’s business portfolio, improving the company’s balance sheet, strengthening synergies within the Company centered on the core operations of its Water business, and enhancing business competitiveness. After being reappointed as Representative Executive Officer (Chief Executive Officer) in June 2019, he has continued to proceed with the Group’s medium-term management plan, “TOWARD SUSTAINABLE GROWTH,” which was developed in 2017. This has included making further improvements to the balance sheet, as well as being responsible for ensuring continued growth through new measures such as “the merger of LIXIL Group Corporation and LIXIL Corporation” and “Kawaranaito LIXIL” (“We must change LIXIL”), which were implemented to progress the medium-term management plan. Therefore, Kinya Seto has been nominated as Representative Executive Officer, President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), because he is best suited as the top executive (Chief Executive Officer) to realize LIXIL Group’s continued enhancement of corporate value through the implementation of important measures such as the above.

Sachio Matsumoto

Sachio Matsumoto has served as Representative Executive Officer and Vice President in charge of Finance, Treasury, M&A and Legal Affairs, supervising finance for the entire LIXIL Group. In addition, he has served as the Chairperson for the council for deliberations on investments and loans of the LIXIL Group and the council for deliberations on M&A matters, playing a key role in the internal decision-making process. On top of being responsible for the development of policies for the entire LIXIL Group, such as the preparation of M&A plans and financial strategies, he has also contributed to achieving the medium-term management plan by advancing measures related to the enforcement of governance and improvement of operational efficiency in the areas that he is in charge of. He has been nominated as Representative Executive Officer and Vice President in charge of Accounting, Finance, and M&A, as he is best suited as LIXIL’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to further the medium-term management plan in the future.

Jin Song Montesano

Jin Song Montesano has led communications with internal and external stakeholders of LIXIL Group as Executive Officer and Senior Managing Director in charge of Public Affairs, Investor Relations, External Affairs, and Corporate Responsibility. As the Chairperson of the Corporate Responsibility (CR) Committee, she is also in charge of decision-making related to LIXIL’s corporate responsibility strategies. From June 2019 onwards, she has been in charge of Human Resources, and has lead the implementation of measures such as “Kawaranaito LIXIL” (“We must change LIXIL”). She has been nominated as Executive Officer and Senior Managing Director in charge of Human Resources, Public Affairs, Investor Relations, External Affairs, and Corporate Responsibility, as she is best suited to improve the organization in order to achieve continued growth, and to advance LIXIL’s medium-term management plan.

Yugo Kanazawa

Yugo Kanazawa has supervised the branding strategy of the LIXIL Group as Executive Officer and Senior Managing Director in charge of Marketing, Digital, and IT. He has contributed to improving LIXIL Group’s business performance through measures such as the introduction of sales techniques using digital technology and the review of mission-critical systems. He has been nominated as Executive Officer and Senior Managing Director in charge of Marketing, Digital, and IT, as he is best suited to prepare and achieve company-wide strategies that enable LIXIL to maintain its future competitive strength by advancing its marketing and digital strategies, and overhauling mission-critical IT systems.

Bijoy Mohan

Bijoy Mohan has demonstrated his abilities in areas such as emerging markets and global business development, in addition to the supervision of general overseas businesses of LIXIL (excluding Permasteelisa). As Executive Director and Senior Managing Director and LIXIL International Chief Executive Officer (CEO), he has created synergies across departments and borders, realizing growth in multiple regions. He has been nominated as Executive Officer and Senior Managing Director in charge of LIXIL International, as he is best suited to achieve the growth of LIXIL’s business in overseas markets which are projected to have significant potential in the future.

Satoshi Yoshida

Satoshi Yoshida has served as the manager of the Sales and Marketing Departments after joining LIXIL (then TOSTEM Corporation). After being appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of LIXIL Housing Technology (LHT) Japan at LIXIL Corporation in 2017, he led the restructuring of the entire domestic Housing business organization, such as reforming the domestic sash business’ production system. He has been nominated as Executive Officer and Senior Managing Director in charge of LIXIL Housing Technology (LHT) Japan as he is best suited to supervise the domestic Housing business, a core business of the Company, as well as implement future reforms in the domestic Building business, focusing on sashes for buildings, based on his experience and past record in the Housing business.

Hiroyuki Oonishi

Hiroyuki Oonishi has served as a manager of the domestic Water business, in particular for the kitchen business after joining LIXIL (then INAX Corporation). After being appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of LIXIL Water Technology (LWT) Japan at LIXIL Corporation in 2018, he has realized the improvement of its profit ratio through the development of differentiated products. He has been nominated as Executive Officer and Senior Managing Director in charge of LIXIL Water Technology (LWT) Japan as he is best suited to supervise the domestic Water business, which is a core business of the Company.

Shoko Kimijima

In addition to years of experience as a lawyer, Shoko Kimijima has served as a manager of the legal department for multiple corporations, such as the General Electric Japan, Ltd. After joining LIXIL Corporation in 2015, she led the implementation of the Group Code of Conduct and the introduction of a global whistle-blower system, while contributing greatly to improving compliance at LIXIL Group as Chief Compliance Officer. Although she left LIXIL Corporation in February 2019, in light of her aforementioned record during her time at the Company, she has been nominated as Executive Officer and Senior Managing Director in charge of Legal Affairs and Compliance as she is best suited to reduce LIXIL Group’s management risks and realize the establishment of a global legal function.
