Jun Aoki

Outside Director, Member of Nomination Committee, Member of Compensation Committee, and Member of Governance Committee, LIXIL Corporation

Jun Aoki was appointed as Outside Director for LIXIL Corporation in June 2023. He is a member of the Nomination Committee, the Compensation Committee, and the Governance Committee.

Aoki began his career as an architect with the architectural planning firm Maki and Associates, later joining the management consulting firm McKinsey & Company as a strategic consultant. In 1999 he was appointed CEO of the Japanese arm of insurance firm BNP Paribas Cardif, followed by a position as Head of International HR. As a corporate officer at the major cosmetics firm Shiseido from 2014 to 2021, Aoki served as Chief Social Value Creation Officer and Chief People Officer. In 2022, drawing on his extensive experience, he established his own firm to become an independent consultant and senior advisor. He is concurrently Outside Director for FIDEA Holdings Co. Ltd.
