Kinya Seto

Mr. Seto founded MonotaRO Co., Ltd. and successfully led the company to its listing on the First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange. He has also served as the representative director of several companies, gaining abundant experience and extensive knowledge as a businessperson. Since being appointed as Representative Executive Officer of the LIXIL group of companies in 2016, he has achieved growth for the LIXIL group by measures such as reviewing the LIXIL groups’ business portfolio and focusing its managerial resources on its core enterprise, improving balance sheets, enhancing synergies within the LIXIL group centered on the core operations of its Water business, and enhancing business competitiveness. After being reappointed as Representative Executive Officer (Chief Executive Officer) in June 2019, he has continued to make further improvements to the balance sheet, as well as steadily form an agile organization with entrepreneurial spirit. For the fiscal year ending March 2023, he is making ambitious efforts and achieving results concerning the priorities set out in the LIXIL Playbook. These are: 1) Focus and simplify our organization, 2) Improve profitability of Japanese business, 3) Promote growth of international water technology business, and 4) Establish foundation for long-term growth through innovation. Even in a challenging business environment, he has demonstrated a clear strategy for growth and kept the company together. Going forwards, Mr. Seto is expected to contribute greatly to the sustainable enhancement of the LIXIL Group’s corporate value and is the ideal person to head our company. Therefore, he has been elected as Representative Executive Officer, President, and Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Sachio Matsumoto

Mr. Matsumoto has served as Representative Executive Officer and Executive Vice President in charge of Finance, Treasury, M&A, and Investor Relations, supervising finance for LIXIL and its group of companies. In addition, he has served as the Chairperson for the council for deliberations on investments and loans of the LIXIL group and the council for deliberations on M&A matters, playing a key role in the internal decision-making process. As well as being responsible for the development of policies for the entire LIXIL group, such as the preparation of M&A plans and financial strategies, he has contributed to the sustainable enhancement of the group’s corporate value by promoting measures related to strengthening governance and improving operational efficiency in the areas he oversees. Even in a challenging business, he has continued to show leadership in his area of responsibility by steadily implementing measures to improve the efficiency of accounting operations and managing global business performance. Mr. Matsumoto is the best person to realize the sustainable enhancement of the group’s corporate value as LIXIL’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Therefore, he has been elected as Representative Executive Officer and Executive Vice President in charge of Finance, Treasury, M&A, and Investor Relations.

Jin Song Montesano

Ms. Montesano has led communications and engagement with various internal and external stakeholders of LIXIL and its group companies as Executive Officer and Executive Vice President in charge of Human Resources, Communications, External Affairs, and Impact Strategy. In addition, as chair of the Impact Strategy Committee, she has also been responsible for implementing LIXIL’s impact strategy. Since June 2019, as Executive Officer in charge of Human Resources she has led reform of our human resources systems in order to support our employees in achieving even more of their potential and to provide them with fair evaluation and opportunities. Ms. Montesano is the ideal person to realize sustainable growth of our corporate value. Therefore she has been elected as Representative Executive Officer and Executive Vice President in charge of Human Resources, Communications, External Affairs, and Impact Strategy.

Yugo Kanazawa

Mr. Kanazawa has supervised the marketing strategy of LIXIL and its group companies as Executive Officer and Executive Vice President in charge of Marketing and Digital. He has also contributed to improving business performance through measures such as introducing sales techniques that use digital technology and reviewing Core systems. As part of LIXIL’s workstyle reforms, he continues to lead various digital transformation (DX) measures, such as improvement of the IT environment amid a major shift toward employee teleworking, the introduction and promotion of online showroom use, and planning digital strategy. As LIXIL’s Chief Digital Officer (CDO), he is the ideal person to prepare and achieve company-wide strategies that enable future competitiveness. Therefore he has been elected as Executive Officer and Executive Vice President in charge of Marketing and Digital.

Bijoy Mohan

Mr. Mohan has demonstrated his abilities in areas such as emerging markets and global business development. In addition, he has led LIXIL’s general overseas business as Executive Vice President in charge of LIXIL International. He has created synergies across business fields and regional frameworks, realizing business growth in multiple regions. Even in a challenging business environment, he fully considers of the situation in each region, presents growth strategies in the areas he is in charge of, and contributes to optimal business operations for LIXIL and all its group companies. He is best person to lead the building of business models and execution of business strategies in overseas markets, where great future growth opportunities for LIXIL’s business are expected. Therefore, he has been elected as Executive Vice President in charge of LIXIL International.

Satoshi Yoshida

After joining LIXIL (then TOSTEM Corporation), Mr. Yoshida served as the manager of the Sales and Marketing Departments. In 2017 he was appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of LIXIL Housing Technology (LHT) Japan. In this role, he led the restructuring of the entire domestic Housing business, including Asia, such as reforming the production system for LIXIL’s domestic sash business. He continues to lead growth strategy measures, such as developing a business model that meets the changing needs of domestic consumers, and new initiatives towards realization of a decarbonized and circular society. Since 2021 he has overseen our global housing business, leading its optimization both domestically and internationally. Based on his abundant experience and past record, Mr. Yoshida is the ideal person to supervise LIXIL’s core Housing business, as well as continue to push forward reform of the Japan Building business, with a focus on sashes for buildings. Therefore he has been elected as Executive Officer and Executive Vice President in charge of LIXIL Housing Technology (LHT).

Hiroyuki Oonishi

After joining LIXIL (then INAX Corporation), Mr. Oonishi served as a manager of the Japan Water business, in particular for the kitchen business. Since being appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of LIXIL Water Technology Japan in 2018, he has successfully improved profit margins through the development of differentiated products, as well as implemented structural reform to achieve sustainable growth through organizational reform. During the fiscal year that ended in March 2023, he helped ensure business stability through reform of distribution networks and operational reform. He is the ideal person to oversee LIXIL’s core Japan Water business. Therefore he has been elected as Executive Officer and Executive Vice President in charge of LIXIL Water Technology Japan.

Shoko Kimijima

As well as a long career as a lawyer, Ms. Kimijima has extensive experience serving in the legal departments of multiple corporations, such as GE Japan Corporation. After joining LIXIL Corporation in 2015, she led the compliance division as Chief Compliance Officer, where she contributed greatly to improving compliance at LIXIL and its group companies, including by leading the implementation of the LIXIL Code of Conduct and the introduction of the global whistle-blower system. Since 2020, as Executive Officer and Executive Vice President in charge of Legal and Compliance, she has steadily furthered efforts to strengthen the LIXIL Group’s management base and establish a global legal function. Since 2022, she has overseen Corporate Audit and helped increase its effectiveness right across the group. As Chief Legal and Compliance Officer (CLCO) of the Company, she is the ideal person to continue promoting the sustainable enhancement of the Group’s corporate value. Therefore she has been elected as Executive Officer and Executive Vice President in charge of Legal, Compliance, and Corporate Audit.
