Yuji Nishiura

Outside Director, Chairperson of Nomination Committee, Member of Compensation Committee, and Member of Governance Committee, LIXIL Corporation

Yuji Nishiura was appointed Outside Director of LIXIL Corporation in June 2019. He serves as the Chairperson of the Nomination Committee, a member of the Compensation Committee, and the Governance Committee.

Nishiura was the Chairman and CEO of Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Club Co., Ltd. (currently Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank, Limited) from 2015 to 2018 and served as the Director and Chair for AXA Life Insurance, Co., Ltd. from 2012 to 2015 and the Director and Chair for AXA GENERAL INSURANCE COMPANY LIMITED from 2013 to 2015. He previously served as the Representative in Japan of AlixPartners LLC from 2006 and Vice Chairman of its US headquarters in 2011. Prior to his tenure at Alix Partners, Nishiura was the Representative Director and President of Booz Allen Hamilton Japan (currently PwC Consulting LLC). Nishiura also served as Outside Director for Square Enix Holdings Co., Ltd.
