Shiho Konno

Outside Director, Member of Audit Committee, and Member of Governance Committee, LIXIL Corporation

Shiho Konno was appointed as Outside Director for LIXIL Corporation in June 2021. She serves as a member of the Audit Committee, and the Governance Committee.

Konno registered as an attorney-at-law with the Tokyo Bar Association in 1991. She has been an assistant instructor for the Legal Training and Research Institute of Japan, and professor at Meiji Law School and Waseda Law School, Waseda University. Konno is a member of several high-profile organizations, including the Committee on Realization of a Gender-Equal Society at the Japan Federation of Bar Associations (leading the Project Team for Female Lawyers Outside Officers), and the JFBA Judicial System Research Committee’s Project Team to Establish Guidelines for Outside Directors. She has served as a corporate auditor and an outside director for several companies, and is currently Outside Director for Monex Group, Inc. She is the representative and practices law at Shiho Konno Habataki Law Office.
