Hiroshi Ishino

Outside Director, Member of Nomination Committee and Member of Audit Committee, LIXIL Corporation

Hiroshi Ishino was appointed as Outside Director for LIXIL Corporation in June 2025. He is a member of the Nomination Committee and the Audit Committee.

Ishino began his career at the major trading company Mitsubishi Corporation, rising to manage overseas operations. He joined Kansai Paint Co., Ltd. in 2003, where he led the firm’s international operations, and served as managing director for sales. He was promoted to president in 2013, driving an expansion that transformed the regional firm into a truly global company. He has extensive management experience in global companies, and broad knowledge and insight regarding business transformation and management, from manufacturing to sales. Ishino is concurrently External Director at Nippon Sheet Glass Co., Ltd., Outside Director at Olympus Corporation, and Honorary Advisor at Kansai Paint Co., Ltd.
